During the past several years, employers increasingly have focused on pay equity and diversity equity & inclusion as top priorities.  Yet most employers have not been able to “move the needle” on either.  Why? Often because hidden “root causes” lead to a continuing, stubborn pay gap and a diversity “revolving door”.  In this session, join us to uncover root causes and how to fix them. Presented by Mickey Silberman and Krystal Welland.

Speaker bios:

Mickey Silberman is the founder of Silberman Law PC.  For almost 30 years Mickey has represented employers throughout the nation in every industry regarding affirmative action, OFCCP, pay equity, and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion. He is a nationally recognized expert and public speaker in these areas.  Mickey helps employers navigate the often tricky world of “systemic EEO”. He provides creative, practical and strategic counsel and legal representation

Krystal Welland is Silberman Law’s Senior Statistician.  Krystal performs complex statistical analyses related to pay equity, affirmative action, adverse impact, and DE&I.  Krystal works closely with Mickey on behalf of the firm’s clients to develop meaningful and practical analyses that help employers address pay gaps, enhance EEO and OFCCP compliance, and move the needle on diversity.
